i have been learning more lately about zbrush. the goZ plugin helps me to flick between zbrush and maya in seconds and is helping a lot to develop this character with its modelling and blend shapes

I’ve been spending the last few weeks learning to model and rig characters in Maya so I can make my own 3D animations. I modelled and rigged an alien that didn’t turn out the way I would have liked. This is the guy I am working on now, so far it’s good so hopefully the rig ends up perfect and you will see an animation with him in it soon….

One of my friends went to a dress up party as Steve-o from Jackass. I drew the tattoo on his back using pen to lay it out and permanent marker to finish it off. It took about 45 minutes. Here are some progress shots.
